Prague Grand City Tour

During the grand sightseeing tour, you will be given all the basic information about Golden Prague’s historical monuments. A bus will take you past the State Opera, the National Museum and Wenceslas Square with its statue of St. Wenceslas. Then you will continue across Charles Square to the banks of the Vltava River, to Charles Bridge, the Rudolfinum and across the river to Prague Castle. There a walk around the castle courtyards awaits you, where amongst other things, you will have the chance to see St.Vitus Cathedral. The bus will then take you across the Vltava to the Old Town, passing through the former Jewish Quarter, to the Old Town Square where you will find St.Nicholas Church, the Týn Cathedral and the Old Town Hall with its astronomical clock and apostles. Here, not far from the modern city centre, the tour ends.

Visit Karlštejn Castle, which was built in the 14th century by the Czech King and Roman Emperor, Charles IV. At the time, the castle held the treasure of the Holy Roman Empire, including the imperial coronation jewels.

The world famous spa city of Carlsbad lying in a picturesque, forested valley is famous for its 12 thermal springs. First you will visit the glass exhibition at the MOSER factory. Then, as you stroll through the city along the spa colonnades, you will have the chance to try not only the mineral springs, but also the delicious local wafers and the traditional herbal BECHEROVKA liqueur, which we offer with lunch.

On this all-day excursion you will have a chance to admire the beautiful south Bohemian countryside, with its picturesque villages and many ponds. Ceský Krumlov is a city on the UNESCO heritage list. The unique urban complex comprising three hundred historic houses and the National Castle and Chateau, the second largest after Prague Castle, draws many visitors every year and is rightly called the PEARL OF RENAISSANCE.

Vienna City Tour & Schönbrunn

This tour will give you an overall impression of the most significant historical sights of Vienna. Along the Ringstrasse we show you numerous grand buildings, such as the MAK, the State Opera House, the magnificent Museum of Fine Arts with its world famous art treasures of the Habsburgs and the Natural History Museum, the cultural district the MuseumsQuartier, the Hofburg (the former Habsburg winter residence), the Parliament, the City Hall and the Burgtheater. The highlight of this tour will be a visit of the showrooms of Schönbrunn Palace, once the summer residence of the Habsburg family and home of Maria Theresia. On the way back to the opera we pass by the Belvedere Palace, the former summer residence of Prince Eugen, which houses the largest and the most precious Gustav Klimt collection in the world.

Vienna Woods

Vienna Woods – Mayerling

A half-day excursion which shows you the most beautiful sights of the southern part of the Vienna Woods. Passing the Roman City of Baden which is famous for its thermal springs, we drive through the romantic valley Helenental to the former Mayerling hunting lodge, (visit of memorial chapel), where Crown Prince Rudolph together with Baronesse Vetsera died tragically in 1889. In the Cistercian Abbey of Heiligenkreuz (1133) you visit the medieval cloister which houses the remains of the last Babenberger. We then pass the Höldrichsmühle and arrive at the Seegrotte. After a boat ride on the largest subterranean lake in Europe you leave the Vienna Woods and return to Vienna. As a great addition to this tour, we recommend the new musical "Rudolf-Affaire Mayerling" at Raimund Theater.

Danube

Danube Valley

A full-day excursion, which will show you the beauty of the Wachau. Through this romantic scenery full of history and legends the Danube winds its way past charming old villages and steep vineyards. The old castles tell us about the former importance of this trade-and traffic way, one of them -Dürnstein -especially famous, because here King Richard Lionheart was imprisoned, while waiting for his ransom to arrive from England, raised by his faithful Minstrel Blondel. During a romantic boat-trip the history comes alive. The heart of the Wachau is the old wine-merchants’ town Krems. The highlight of this excursion will be the visit of the Benedictine abbey of Melk, one of Austria´s most famous Baroque buildings, which together with the Wachau area, won the award for "Best Historic Destination of the World" in 2008. Possibility for lunch at the Abbey Restaurant at Melk.

Salzburg

On our way to Mozart‘s town of birth you become acquainted with the beautiful Salzkammergut landscape with its mountains and its numerous lakes, where the Emperor Franz Joseph and his family used to spend their holidays. Skirting the Lake Fuschl and Lake Wolfgang you reach Salzburg, where you will have time for lunch. The afternoon will be dedicated to a stroll through the old city, showing you the most important sights of this old _ishop‘s Seat. These are the _athedral, the Festival Hall, St. Peter‘s !bbey Church and its graveyard (tomb of Mozart‘s sister Nannerl). Of course we will show you Mozart‘s birth place in the Getreidegasse. The Edelweiss-Song from the movie Sound of Music will come to your memory, while passing the horse-pond and from the gardens of Mirabell-Palace you will have a marvellous view of the Hohensalzburg Fortress.

We start the tour from the Chain Bridge. First, we take the Margaret Bridge and drive over to Buda. We stop in the Castle District and during a short walk we show you the main attractions of the area. We walk to Matthias Church and to the Fishermen’s Bastion (from where you can enjoy the beautiful panorama).Next, we drive to the Gellért Hill (Citadel) and show you the most spectacular view of Budapest. We then take you across the Elisabeth Bridge to Pest and show you the famous Central Market Hall, followed by the largest Synagogue of Europe and the City Park. We pass by Europe’s largest thermal spa, the Budapest Zoo and the Amusement Park, after which stop at the Heroes’ Square (with statues of the most famous Hungarian kings and dukes). We then take the Andrássy Avenue to downtown Pest, pass by the Opera House and the St Stephen’s Basilica. We then get off the bus again and take an interior visit of the impressive neo-gothic House of Parliament (guided tour incl.). During the tour we offer a brief overview of the last 1000 years of Hungarian history. The Tour ends in the city-centre.

During this tour, you will have the chance to see first the very richly decorated Staircase, later on the Cupola Room, where the Hungarian Crown Jewels and the Hungarian Holy Crown can be found. Danube Bend Tour

Danube Bend Tour

The Danube Bend – an excursion into Hungary’s history. This is an unforgettable tour along the "Blue Danube" with stops in Visegrád, Esztergom and Szentendre. Visegrád: we walk on the 750 year-old stones of the formal Royal Residence (entrance fee included), learn about life in the middle ages and enjoy the fascinating panorama on the Danube valley.
Esztergom: the Northern gate of Budapest – the centre of the Catholic Church. We visit the largest cathedral of Hungary (also burial place of famous cardinals of Hungary, like Primate József Mindszenty). Afterwards, we glance across the river and enjoy the view over to Slovakia.
Szentendre: On the way back we stop in the artist's village of Szentendre. It is a small baroque city at the gate of the Danube Bend, at the meeting place of the river Danube and the Pilis mountains, in a beautiful natural environment. We walk around the baroque settlement, built on medieval ruins and go up the narrow streets to the panorama point to see the Danube. We then simply enjoy the special atmosphere of this village. You can also take the opportunity to visit the museums (for example the world-famous Margit Kovács Ceramic Museum, the Confectionery Museum-with buildings and people made of marzipan), or you can choose to visit the shops of the village. During the summer (between the 1st of May and the 30th of September) we return to Budapest on the Danube by boat.The tour ends at the pier / city centre.
